Pipework Fabrication

CNL has the facilities, qualifications and expertise to fabricate pipework in a range of different sizes, thicknesses and materials for clients in a range of different industries.

Cavendish Northern fabricate high quality pipework in accordance with ASME B31.3, BS EN13480 and client specific specifications. Our manufacturing facility is managed and certified in accordance with quality standards EN3834-2 & ISO9001. All works are planned and tracked electronically to meet a client’s programme requirements and enable day by day accurate progress reporting.

Our CSWIP qualified inspection team manage the inspection and test plan and ensure checks and hold points are monitored and recorded to ensure our pipework is manufactured to the highest standards and has the required quality documentation to accompany it.

Typical Size Range

Small bore instrument tube to ½" to 72" Nominal Bore Pipework.

Typical Thickness Range

Between Thin Wall Sch 5 to XXS or bespoke thicknesses greater than XXS.

QA Documentation

All pipework is dispatched with a quality assurance package which includes various documents dependant upon client specifications and requirements. Typical QA Packages Include: quality assurance checklist, weld maps, weld date sheets, NDT reports, pressure test reports, Surface Coating Inspection Reports and a copy of Weld Qualification Procedures and Welder Procedure Qualifications used.

Progress Monitoring

Our Progress Monitoring system enables 100% monitoring of the spools progress from initial allocation of materials to fabrication progress to acceptance of NDT and final dispatch. This enables us to manage the number of hours remaining and plan and phase in critical spools to meet programme demands on site.
